Zusammenfassung

Starr Insurance is seeking a Loss Control Consultant to perform property loss control surveys for high hazard industries, including Oil & Petrochemical and Chemical sectors. You will evaluate sprinkler systems, building construction, fire alarm plans, and provide guidance to clients and underwriters.

The role requires independent work and strong communication skills. Travel is regional with about 25% overnight, and a company car is provided.

Qualifikationen

College graduate with Bachelors of Science in engineering.
Preferred minimum 10 years' experience as an engineer in Oil/Petrochemical, Midstream or Chemical company.
Or 5 years’ experience performing Property Loss Control field inspections for insurance/consulting/brokerage.
Technical knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) is required.

Aufgaben

Conduct property loss control surveys for high hazard industries (Oil & Petrochemical, Chemical, Power Generation, etc.).
Evaluate sprinkler systems, building construction, and fire alarm plans; provide guidance to clients.
Perform engineering account reviews for underwriters and meetings; write survey reports.
Advise underwriting staff on risk quality and insurability; maintain inspection records.
