Starr Insurance is seeking a Loss Control Consultant to perform on-site risk assessments for high-hazard industries including Oil and Petrochemical, Chemical, and Power Generation. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline with preference for chemical, mechanical, or fire protection.
• 10+ years' engineering experience in Oil/Petrochemical, Midstream or Chemical sectors, or 5+ years in Property Loss Control field inspections for risk-related organizations.
• Knowledge of 29 CFR 1910.119 Process Safety Management and related elements (PMA, KPI, PHA, LOPA, SIF/SIS, PSSR, MOC).
• Familiarity with NFPA, FM, API, ASME codes and industry practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with underwriters and managers on multiple tasks.
• Strong communication, writing, organization, public speaking and time management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.

Aufgaben

• Conduct on-site loss control surveys for high-hazard industries (Oil, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, etc.).
• Prepare survey reports and present findings to clients and underwriters.
• Perform engineering account reviews and participate in meetings with clients and brokers.
• Maintain inspection records and assist with risk quality assessment for insurance purposes.
• Travel regionally with approximately 25% overnight stays.
