Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. (RRI) is a leading independent Loss Control provider for the insurance sector. We seek an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial inspections and create underwriting reports.

Consultants travel to facilities to observe operations, document findings, and generate formal reports online. Work is assigned daily or weekly based on location, with travel and field meetings as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience with Loss Control providers or major insurers.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance lines: Property, General Liability, Inland Marine.
• Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes.
• Broad understanding of NFPA codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
• Must have automobile and valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet.
• Reliable digital camera or smartphone for photos.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, measurements and photos per carrier requirements.
• Identify building and roof construction type, square footage, hazards.
• Complete assignments on time and meet due dates.
• Communicate with Field Manager to optimize inspections for cost and efficiency.
• Coordinate inspection dates with insured representatives onsite.
• Prepare and upload inspection results, photos and diagrams regularly.
• Drive to insured locations; some overnight travel may be required.
