Thomson Reuters is seeking an Associate Sales Specialist for Local Government. You will drive outbound prospecting, build a pipeline, and close deals with county and city agencies, law enforcement, and public safety orgs using Thomson Reuters' cloud solutions, including CLEAR.

The role is remote-based in the US and requires field collaboration with Account Executives, strong local government knowledge, and willingness to travel to meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales, business development, or inside sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Interest in local government structures and procurement processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to tailor messaging for law enforcement and local agencies.

Responsibilities

• Generate pipeline and drive revenue within defined geography.
• Prospect into county and city government and public safety agencies, connecting decision-makers with Thomson Reuters solutions.
• Own territory quota and meet/exceed monthly/annual targets; travel as required to meetings and events.
• Log all activities and pipeline updates in Salesforce; collaborate with Account Executives on local government pursuits.
