Job summary

ECU Health is seeking an LMS Analyst to optimize our learning management system, ensuring accurate content, reporting, and governance across the enterprise. The role collaborates with educators, instructional designers, and vendors to deliver meaningful education for team members and leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in adult education, instructional technology, educational leadership or closely related field.
  • Relevant Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in all phases of Learning Management System management (Cornerstone OnDemand preferred).
  • Mastery of current eLearning/learning technology and tools, including audio, video, HTML and SCORM.
  • 3+ years' experience in all aspects of program development for online learning.
  • 3+ years' experience as a Database Administrator with all aspects of insuring data integrity and data management including integration from platforms such as PeopleSoft.
  • 3+ years' experience with HTML, CSS and Java Script plus experience using third party code such as boostrap.
  • 3+ years' experience working with graphics software to develop web page images and layout.
  • Ability to convert desktop web pages to mobile device.
  • 3+ years' experience with SQL report writing.
  • Ability to develop complex reports using all aspects of the LMS.
  • 1 year experience in healthcare related needs assessment, program planning, development and teaching preferred.

  • Understands instructional design theories, methodologies and best practices through entire design process.
  • Understands the needs assessment process.
  • Is able to take a leadership role in training program planning.
  • Understands adult learning principles.
  • Able to plan and implement large scale initiatives with minimal support.
  • Identifies options for resolving issues and assesses educational cost/benefit and overall impact of each alternative.
  • Maintains openness to new ideas, is not constrained by past practices in identifying better ways to achieve results.
  • Recognized as a source of knowledge and proactively functions in that capacity when sought after by others for guidance and council.
  • Frequently volunteers for assignments outside of assigned areas.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Looks at problems from the end users perspective and probes all sources for answers to obvious and hidden problems.
  • Able to effectively analyze and resolve simple to moderate issues.
  • Identifies the root cause of problem and facilitate problem resolution.
  • Provides well-written and effective professional and technical documentation.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly.
  • Understands intricacies of work and its impact on customers from a holistic perspective.

Education

Bachelor's degree in adult education, instructional technology, educational leadership or closely related field
Relevant Master's degree preferred
