Royal Behavioral Health Center in Arlington, TX, seeks a licensed mental health counselor for a full-time, primarily remote position partnering with a multidisciplinary team. You will conduct assessments, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual and group therapy to a diverse client population using evidence-based approaches.

Formación

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active license as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in the mental health field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies and mental health assessments.
• Demonstrated commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practice.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with clients through initial assessments to determine their mental health status and diagnose conditions accurately.
• Design customized treatment plans that address the specific needs of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use, and eating disorders.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally sensitive therapeutic techniques to foster a safe and productive environment for clients.
• Monitor clients’ progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure all therapeutic goals are met effectively.
• Collaborate with a range of healthcare providers to facilitate referrals to further resources such as psychiatrists for medication management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during challenging situations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients.
