Job summary

Health Booster Counseling Clinic in Dallas, TX is seeking a licensed mental health therapist (LMFT/LPC/LCSW) for full-time remote work. You will conduct culturally competent assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and group therapy to a diverse client base.

The position emphasizes evidence-based approaches such as CBT and DBT, crisis intervention, coordination with a multidisciplinary team, and diligent documentation using EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Must hold a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy with culturally responsive care methods.
• Proficient crisis intervention skills and ability to stay composed under pressure.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and typical computer applications used in mental health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique challenges and experiences, leading to tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as CBT and DBT, ensuring culturally and individually relevant approaches.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to support patients in navigating mental health concerns with resilience-building strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies and de-escalation.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using EHR systems.
• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development to enhance cultural competency and therapeutic practices.
• Stay updated on research and culturally informed practices to improve care.
