Job summary

IDBS, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Solutions Consultant to bring IDBS solutions to life for life sciences customers. You will lead pre-sales demonstrations, partner with Account Managers, and drive opportunities from discovery to win.

This field-based, remote role requires strong scientific software experience, excellent communication, and willingness to travel internationally. You will work with the global Solutions Consulting team and report to the Director of Solutions Consulting.

Qualifications

Degree level qualification in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience using and configuring scientific informatics software (LIMS, LES, ELN).
Engaging presentation skills and ability to communicate with diverse customer communities.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
2–5+ years hands-on experience in biopharma or life sciences environments.

Responsibilities

Deliver value-based product demonstrations in-person, remotely, and at conferences.
Create demo video content to support presales efforts.
Contribute to pre-sales activities (demos, RFPs/RFIs) with Account Managers.
Collaborate with Sales to qualify customer needs and drive deals to closure.
Provide feedback to Product and Marketing on customers, competitors, and tech trends.
Learn and demonstrate IDBS software and improve pre-sales materials.
