Job summary

IDBS, a Danaher company, is seeking a Solutions Consultant for a field-based, fully remote role that partners with Account Managers to drive pre-sales success and customer outcomes.

You will deliver value-based demonstrations, configure IDBS software, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and collaborate with Sales to qualify customer needs while sharing market insights with Product and Marketing. Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience using and configuring scientific/informatic software.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• 2–5+ years in biopharma or related life sciences environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales activities, deliver impactful demonstrations, and progress opportunities to close.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and the Solutions Consulting Team on qualified opportunities.
• Configure and demonstrate IDBS software and review pre-sales materials for improvement.
• Gather customer needs, qualify value, and support deal progression with sales.
• Provide market feedback to Product Management and Marketing on trends.
