Job summary

IDBS, a Danaher company, is seeking a Solutions Consultant to bring IDBS solutions to life for life sciences customers. You will lead pre-sales activities, deliver impactful demonstrations, and progress opportunities with the Sales team while working remotely and traveling to customer sites.

The role reports to the Director, Solutions Consulting and is part of the global Solutions Consulting team. Expect a hybrid-flexible arrangement with travel and a strong emphasis on customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification and/or equivalent experience in a scientific discipline (Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacology)
• Experience using and configuring scientific/informatic software (LIMS, LES, ELN)
• Engaging presentation skills and ability to communicate with diverse customer community
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• 2–5+ years hands-on biopharma experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver value-based product demonstrations to customers in-person, remotely, and at conferences.
• Create demo video content for presales.
• Contribute to presales activities (demos, RFPs/RFIs) with Account Managers and Solutions Consulting.
• Collaborate with Sales to qualify customer needs and drive engagement to a successful sale.
• Provide feedback to Product and Marketing on customer needs, competitors and tech trends.
• Learn to configure IDBS software and improve pre-sales materials.
