Job summary

HORIBA Instruments in the United States seeks a Life Sciences Sales Specialist to maintain a US territory, sell HORIBA portfolio tools, and drive adoption in biopharma and pharma. You will conduct face-to-face meetings, teleconferences, and emails, engaging with customers and collaborating with the Life Sciences team.

Located in New Jersey, Boston, or Philadelphia, the role requires up to 50% travel, a scientific degree, and 5+ years of technical sales experience.

Qualifications

• Scientific Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biophysics, Bioengineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences, plus 5 years of technical sales experience or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with spectroscopy or chromatography sales is preferred (Raman, fluorescence, absorbance, FTIR, LC).
• Strong presentation, consultation skills, and CRM proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Promote HORIBA products and drive business growth in biopharma/pharma markets.
• Demonstrate products with support from the applications team and nurture life science customers.
• Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships and expand the pipeline.
• Use CRM and technical software to manage opportunities and customer data.
• Identify key decision makers and understand client culture and decision processes.
• Collaborate across Life Sciences to develop opportunities and revenue growth.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and stay informed on regulatory requirements.
