Job summary

HORIBA is seeking a Life Sciences Sales Specialist to manage a US territory including biopharma and pharmaceutical customers. Based remotely with regions like New Jersey, Boston, or Philadelphia, you will drive adoption of HORIBA’s life science portfolio through face-to-face meetings, calls, and demonstrations.

Reporting to the Life Sciences business unit, you will build a robust pipeline, collaborate with cross-divisional teams, and target growth in R&D, QA/QC, and manufacturing environments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life sciences field plus 5 years of technical sales or equivalent pharma experience.
• Experience in biopharma/pharma applications and workflows; strong presentation/consultation skills.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and building strategic relationships.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Promote HORIBA products and services in biopharma/pharma markets to expand pipeline.
• Demonstrate products with support from the application team and nurture life-science customers.
• Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships across territory.
• Use CRM and technical software to manage opportunities and customer data.
• Identify key decision makers and understand client culture and processes.
• Collaborate with life science business development to create new opportunities.
• Expand HORIBA portfolio across client functional groups and ensure value delivery.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through engagement and support.
• Stay informed on life science regulatory needs and compliance.
