Job summary

HORIBA Life Sciences is seeking a highly capable Life Sciences Sales Specialist to manage a US territory, selling HORIBA portfolio tools and driving adoption in biopharma and pharma markets. This role focuses on face-to-face meetings, teleconferences, and email interactions within a US-wide territory.

The role requires a scientific degree and 5 years of technical sales experience in biopharma/pharma, with proven sales success and excellent communication skills. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of technical sales experience in biopharma or pharma.
• Deep technical expertise in biopharma/pharma applications and workflows with strong presentation skills.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strategic relationships.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and relevant technical software.

Responsibilities

• Promote HORIBA products to existing accounts and win new business in biopharma/pharma markets.
• Deliver product demonstrations with application team support and nurture life science customers.
• Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships to drive revenue growth.
• Use CRM and software to manage opportunities, contacts, and sales activities.
• Identify key decision makers and understand client culture and decision processes.
• Collaborate across life science teams to grow the pipeline of opportunities.
• Expand HORIBA’s product portfolio across client functions to add value.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through engagement and support.
• Stay informed on regulatory guidelines (FDA, USP) to ensure compliance.
