Job summary
IDBS, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Solutions Consultant to deliver value-based pre-sales demonstrations and configure IDBS software for life-sciences customers worldwide. You will partner with Account Managers to qualify needs and drive opportunities toward successful outcomes, including demo videos and RFP support.
This remote role with hybrid possibilities requires 2–5+ years in biopharma or life sciences and travel up to 25%, communicating across scientists, IT, and senior leaders
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification or equivalent in a scientific discipline (biology, chemical engineering, biochemistry, pharmacology).
- Experience using/configuring scientific/informatic software (LIMS, LES, ELN).
- Engaging presentation skills for diverse customer audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Lead pre-sales activities and deliver impactful demonstrations to customers (in person, remotely, at conferences).
- Collaborate with Account Managers to qualify needs and progress opportunities to a sale.
- Create demo content (videos) and support RFPs/RFIs as part of presales.
- Provide feedback to Product Managers and Marketing on customer trends and competitors.
- Develop expertise configuring IDBS software and related SaaS/cloud offerings.
