Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-motivated individuals for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. No insurance experience is required, and licensing will be guided in states with timelines varying by state.

You will contact people who requested information, understand their goals, walk through options, and guide them through underwriting and the application process, while staying connected via CRM and mentorship from Ben and Andrea.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn state licensing requirements before selling.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Excellent communication and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Speak with people who have already requested information about life insurance
• Ask about the household, goals, and concerns before presenting anything
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training
