Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a 100% remote life insurance sales contractor who will help families understand their options and guide them through the application process from home. You’ll earn based on commissions within a 1099 independent-contractor arrangement.

Responsibilities include calling or video-chatting with prospects who requested information, assessing families’ needs, explaining coverage clearly, guiding them through underwriting, and logging progress in the CRM.

Qualifications

• License or plan to obtain state life insurance license.
• Ability to conduct calls and video consultations.
• Self-motivated and disciplined to manage own schedule.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who already requested life insurance information from us.
• Learn each household's situation and priorities before showing options.
• Explain coverage choices in plain language, then complete the application together.
• Follow applications through underwriting and update the family until a decision is made.
• Log each conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep up with ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules.
