Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking driven individuals for a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales role. No prior insurance experience needed; you’ll guide families from information to licensing and application, with mentorship from Ben and Andrea throughout the process.

You'll talk with leads, assess households, present options, and stay with the case through underwriting, while recording notes in the CRM and learning products and state rules through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain state life insurance license before selling.
• Excellent people skills and honesty when the answer is 'it depends'.
• Ability to work from home with reliable internet.
• Eligible to work in the United States and 18+ years old.
• No prior insurance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Speak with people who have already requested information about life insurance.
• Ask about the household, goals, and concerns before presenting anything.
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client.
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation.
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training.
