Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-starting sales professionals to run their own business as a 1099 independent-contractor for life insurance. This fully remote role serves families who have requested information and is commission-based with no fixed salary.

You’ll manage your own pipeline, set appointments by phone or video, guide clients through options, and shepherd each case through underwriting. A state life license (or plan to obtain one) is required before your first sale, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience running a business, freelancing, or working for yourself.
• Must be at least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• State life license or plan to obtain before first sale.
• Comfortable using web-based tools and a CRM.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information.
• Set your own appointment schedule and hold calls by phone or video.
• Ask discovery questions and walk through suitable options with clients.
• Own each case through underwriting and keep the client informed.
• Track activity and follow-ups in the CRM.
• Engage in ongoing training and compliance.
