Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a self-motivated life insurance sales professional to join us as a 1099 independent contractor. This is a 100% remote role where you manage your own schedule and work from home, calling and video-chatting with people who requested information.

You’ll guide families through product options, complete applications with them, and shepherd cases through underwriting while maintaining client relationships. A state license or plan to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Life insurance license required or plan to obtain before first sale
• Comfortable conducting appointments via phone and video from home
• Self-motivated with ability to manage your own schedule

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who already requested life insurance information from us
• Learn each household's situation and priorities before showing a single option
• Explain coverage choices in plain language, then complete the application together
• Follow every application through underwriting and keep the family updated until a decision
• Log each conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens
• Keep up with ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules
