The Wood Agency Life in the United States is seeking a remote life insurance sales professional on a 1099 independent-contractor basis. You'll contact leads, review finances, explain carrier options, and guide clients through applications.

You should bring a banking or credit-union background, be comfortable with forms and disclosures, and plan your day independently. A state life license or plan to get licensed is required; you must be able to work legally in the US.

Qualifications

• Banking, lending, or credit union background is a plus.
• Comfortable with forms, disclosures, and precise recordkeeping.
• Able to discuss family finances respectfully and without pressure.
• State life insurance license or a plan to get licensed before first sale.
• Self-directed, able to plan your day and follow-up independently.
• Eligible to work in the United States (18+).

Responsibilities

• Contact people who have already requested life insurance information and book appointments.
• Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing coverage.
• Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together.
• Handle applications and disclosures accurately, because underwriting details matter.
• Track every open case through the carrier's review and keep clients informed.
• Log activity in the CRM and keep up with compliance training.
