Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is hiring for an Inside Sales role that operates 100% remotely as a 1099 independent-contractor. You will schedule calls, guide clients through options with multiple carriers, and complete applications during the call.

Expect to log every step in the CRM and stay compliant with state insurance rules. Applicants should have inside sales or related experience, be licensed or plan to obtain a life license before first sale, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales, account management, or business development.
• Comfortable managing a pipeline and following up without prompting.
• Ability to explain a life insurance product to unfamiliar buyers.
• Licensed life insurance agent or plan to obtain license before first sale.
• Fully remote work setup: computer, phone, reliable internet.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next steps in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
