Job summary

The Wood Agency Life offers a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales role for self-starters who want to serve families seeking coverage. You’ll manage your own pipeline, set appointments, and guide clients through discovery to application, staying with each case through underwriting and disclosure.

You’ll work with multiple carriers, receive exclusive leads, and benefit from direct mentorship from Ben and Andrea, plus weekly team calls and script reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience running a business, freelancing, or working for yourself.
• Comfortable being accountable for your own results and your own time.
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale.
• At ease with web-based tools and a CRM.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who've requested life insurance information.
• Set your own appointment schedule and hold calls by phone or video.
• Ask discovery questions first, then walk through suitable options and apply together.
• Own each case through underwriting, keeping the client in the loop.
• Track your activity and follow-ups in the CRM.
• Invest time in ongoing training and compliance.
