The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-directed, licensed life insurance sales professionals for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor role. You will contact leads, review finances, compare carrier options, and guide families through the application process.

A banking background and precise recordkeeping help you succeed here, with a focus on respectful conversations about family finances and compliance. You’ll stay organized with CRM logs and ongoing licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Background in banking, lending, or credit union member service.
• Comfortable with forms, disclosures and precise recordkeeping.
• Able to discuss family finances respectfully and without pressure.
• State life insurance license, or plan to obtain license before first sale.
• Self-directed, planning your day and follow-up.
• 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Contact people who have already requested life insurance information and book appointments.
• Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing coverage.
• Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together.
• Handle applications and disclosures accurately, because details matter to underwriting.
• Track every open case through the carrier's review and keep clients informed.
• Log activity in the CRM and keep up with compliance training.
