Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-directed life insurance sales professionals for 100% remote, independent-contractor work in the United States. You will contact interested families, review finances, compare carriers, and guide them through the application process with careful attention to disclosures.

As an independent contractor, earnings are commission-based and tied to your production. Licensing and compliance are essential, with mentorship from Ben and Andrea and access to carrier

Qualifications

• Background in banking, lending, or credit union member service.
• Comfortable with forms, disclosures, and precise recordkeeping.
• Able to discuss family finances respectfully and without pressure.

Responsibilities

• Contact people who requested life insurance info and book appointments.
• Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing coverage.
• Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together.
• Handle applications and disclosures accurately for underwriting.
• Track open cases and keep clients informed through carrier reviews.
• Log activity in the CRM and participate in compliance training.
