Job summary
The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales professional to engage families who have already expressed interest in coverage. You’ll leverage exclusive lead systems and a network of 43 carriers to tailor options and guide clients through disclosures and applications.
Ideal candidates are self-directed, comfortable with form-heavy processes, and possess a state life insurance license or a plan to obtain one prior to first sale.
Qualifications
- Must hold a state life insurance license, or plan to obtain one before your first sale.
- Comfortable with forms, disclosures, and precise recordkeeping.
- Able to discuss family finances respectfully and without pressure.
Responsibilities
- Contact people who requested life insurance information and book appointments.
- Review households' finances and obligations before discussing coverage.
- Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together.
- Handle applications and disclosures accurately, because details matter to underwriting.
- Track every open case through carrier review and keep clients informed.
- Log activity in the CRM and keep up with compliance training.
