Qualifications
- Background in banking, lending, or credit union member service.
- Comfortable with forms, disclosures, and precise recordkeeping.
- Able to discuss family finances respectfully and without pressure.
- State life insurance license or plan to obtain before first sale.
- Self-directed, able to plan your day and follow up.
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Contact people who have already requested life insurance information and book appointments
- Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing any coverage
- Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together
- Handle applications and disclosures accurately, because details matter to underwriting
- Track every open case through the carrier's review and keep clients informed
- Log activity in the CRM and keep up with compliance training
