Job summary

Equip is hiring a Licensed Therapist to join a fully virtual care team delivering evidence-based treatments for eating disorders. The role works with a multidisciplinary team, including nutritionists, physicians, and mentors, via telehealth.

You will provide family, individual, and group therapies with a focus on FBT and CBT-E, while maintaining licensure across states as needed. Flex PTO (3–5 weeks) and extensive benefits support long-term well-being.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted psychotherapy license in New York.
• Ability to manage a caseload of patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Willingness to work 2 evenings per week until 8pm in target time zone.
• Experience delivering evidence-based treatments for eating disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy via telehealth for eating disorders.
• Implement FBT, CBT-E, ARFID CBT, and other evidence-based treatments.
• Maintain a caseload of 30-40 with 20-26 hours direct care and remaining time for admin tasks.
• Participate in trainings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Use Equip’s EMR to communicate between sessions and with the care team.
• Attend Treatment Team meetings and supervision.
• Maintain licensure in home state and obtain licensure in other states when requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
