Job summary

Open Mind Health is expanding its remote therapy team and seeks fully licensed California therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD/PhD) to serve clients nationwide via telehealth. The role offers $70–$80/hour as a 1099 independent contractor with a minimum 20 hours per week and flexible scheduling.

Applicants may reside outside California, but active California licensure is required for CA clients. The practice focuses on anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress, and life transitions.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD).
• Strong clinical assessment and psychotherapy skills.
• Experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, and related mental health needs.
• Commitment to evidence-based care.
• Comfortable using technology and telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to California clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, chronic stress, burnout, and life transitions.
• Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on presenting concerns and goals.
• Utilize CBT, ACT, DBT-informed interventions, mindfulness-based strategies, and other modalities.
• Help clients develop coping skills, emotional regulation, resilience, and tools for managing symptoms.
• Deliver culturally responsive, client-centered care tailored to each client.
