Job summary

Open Mind Health is seeking licensed California therapists to provide 100% remote psychotherapy to California clients, with a requirement of active CA licensure. This is a 1099 independent contractor role offering $70–$80 per hour and a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Providers will use evidence-based modalities (CBT, ACT, DBT) and deliver culturally responsive, client-centered care. Flexible scheduling, and a supportive telehealth infrastructure are included.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license as LCSW/LMFT/LPCC or Psychologist (PsyD/PhD).
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, and related mental health needs.
• Commitment to evidence-based and evidence-guided care.
• Ability to maintain a minimum of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability.
• Comfortable using technology and telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to California clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, chronic stress, burnout, and life transitions.
• Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on presenting concerns and treatment goals.
• Utilize evidence-guided therapeutic approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed interventions, mindfulness-based strategies, and other appropriate modalities.
• Help clients develop coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, resilience, and tools for managing anxiety and depressive symptoms.
• Deliver culturally responsive, client-centered care tailored to each client's experiences, background, and goals.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the broader care team as appropriate.
• Practice within applicable professional, licensing, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
