Job summary

Open Mind Health is seeking fully licensed California therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD/PhD) for 100% remote telehealth. You will provide psychotherapy to California clients, with a flexible schedule and a minimum of 20 hours per week as a 1099 contractor, earning $70–$80 per hour.

Applicants may reside outside California, but must hold an active CA license. This role focuses on anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress, burnout, and life transitions in diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license as LCSW/LMFT/LPCC or Psychologist (PsyD/PhD)
• Strong clinical assessment and psychotherapy skills
• Experience with anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, and related mental health needs
• Commitment to evidence-based care and telehealth platforms
• Ability to maintain a minimum of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to California clients
• Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Utilize CBT, ACT, DBT-informed interventions, mindfulness, and other modalities
• Help clients develop coping skills and emotional regulation
• Deliver culturally responsive, client-centered care
• Complete timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the care team
• Practice within licensing, ethical, and regulatory requirements
