Job summary

gpac is seeking a Licensed Survey Manager to lead nationwide survey project delivery, mentoring staff and coordinating with clients. This remote-friendly role requires strong oversight of operations and quality standards.

You will post-process field data from total stations, GPS, 3D scanners, and create ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys, while overseeing staffing, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely, accurate results for clients.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and projects.
• Proficiency in ALTA/ACSM, Boundary, topographic, and Construction surveys.
• Experience meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality client service.
• Working knowledge of surveying equipment (Trimble, Sokkia, Leica).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey project delivery for public and private agencies.
• Monitor project performance, QA/QC, client satisfaction, and safety standards.
• Prepare legal exhibits including plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports.
• Oversee all survey operations including staffing, budgets, schedules, and resource planning.
• Post-process field data collected via total station, GPS, levels, 3D laser scanners, and UAVs.
• Create mapping deliverables including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys.
• Prepare construction staking calculations by reading plans and interpreting CAD files.
