Job summary

Landpoint is seeking a Licensed Surveyor/Staff Surveyor to join the Operations team. The role is remote-flexible, with responsibilities spanning project coordination, client communication, and survey execution across boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in surveying or geomatics, Arkansas licensure preferred, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble. Travel may be required, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field preferred.
• Arkansas licensure preferred.
• Experience in land surveying: boundary, topographic, construction.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, and related surveying software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with clients to define scope, objectives and deliverables.
• Provide regular updates to clients on progress and deliverables.
• Conduct or oversee boundary, topographic, construction surveys and related work.
• Review survey data, drawings, and deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review survey reports, legal descriptions, and plats.
• Assist in invoicing by reviewing progress and documentation for billing.
• Identify issues affecting deliverables and propose practical solutions; ensure safety and standards compliance.
