Job summary

gpac is seeking a Licensed Survey Manager for a fully remote role in the United States. You will lead survey project delivery for public and private clients, oversee staffing and budgets, mentor staff, and ensure QA/QC standards while coordinating with clients.

You will also post-process field data (GPS, total station, laser scanners, UAVs) and produce boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveys, along with construction staking calculations.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of related work experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple teams and projects.
• Ability to perform ALTA/ACSM, Boundary, topographic, and Construction surveys.
• Meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients.
• Working knowledge of Trimble, Sokkia, or Leica surveying equipment.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey project delivery for public and private agencies, provide technical oversight, mentor staff and coordinate with clients.
• Monitor project performance, QA/QC, client satisfaction and safety standards to maintain operational excellence.
• Prepare legal exhibits including plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports.
• Oversee survey operations including staffing, budgets, schedules, and resource planning.
• Post-process field data collected via total station, GPS, levels, 3D laser scanners, and UAVs.
• Create mapping deliverables including boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveys.
• Prepare construction staking calculations by reading plans and CAD files.
