Job summary

South Hills Counseling Services is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for a fully remote position based in Arlington, TX. The role focuses on culturally sensitive mental health care and delivering telehealth therapy to a diverse client population.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a related field and Texas licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT). Responsibilities include assessments, evidence-based therapy, crisis intervention, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Independent licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in using digital platforms for counseling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions (CBT, Solution-Focused) to individuals, couples, and families.
• Engage clients in developing coping strategies and communication skills.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals for coordinated care.
• Provide crisis intervention to support clients in distress and ensure safety.
