Independent Insurance Services Agency is seeking an experienced Licensed Customer Service Representative to join our Troy, MI team. This is a part-time, remote position with a focus on delivering exceptional service and proactive account management for existing clients.

You will market insurance policies, handle policy changes and renewals, assist with billing inquiries, and educate clients on coverage options while identifying cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• 5+ years of experience in an insurance agency.
• Experience servicing personal lines insurance policies.

Responsibilities

• Market insurance policies.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by phone, email, and in person.
• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, claims support, and coverage inquiries.
• Conduct proactive policy reviews to ensure customers have the appropriate protection.
• Educate clients on available coverage options, discounts, and policy enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and account rounding while maintaining a service-first approach.
• Build long-term relationships that promote customer retention and loyalty.
• Process policy updates accurately and maintain organized client records.
• Collaborate with agency team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.
