Job summary

First Independent Agency is seeking a Personal Lines – P&C Customer Service Representative for their busy Michigan office. You will handle inbound service calls, provide quotes, cross-sell, and assist with new business for Personal Lines P&C.

Requirements include a Property and Casualty license and strong communication skills; AMS 360 experience is a plus. Competitive salary and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty license required.
• Excellent communication skills; verbally and written.
• Detail oriented and able to maintain compliance standards.
• Dependable with timely response and completion of work activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• AMS 360 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Retain renewal business by contacting insureds to review coverage.
• Review underwriting information to qualify customers for improved programs and monitor renewal premiums.
• Cross-sell and develop existing accounts by adding coverage or lines of business.
• Provide product, coverage and rate training to agency staff as needed.
• Assist with recommended coverage for customers.
• Cross selling and answering phones; other general office duties.
• Provide new business quotes and sell Personal Lines P&C.
