Job summary

BusPatrol America LLC is seeking a highly organized Legal Operations Manager to optimize processes, manage technology, and control costs within the Legal Department. You will design workflows, manage CLM/e-billing and document systems, and lead cross-functional projects with Finance, Compliance, HR, and Procurement.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years in Legal Operations, with hands-on experience implementing legal tech like SimpleLegal and Lexion, plus strong budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Technology, or Legal Studies)
• 6+ years of experience in Legal Operations or a similar function within an in-house legal department
• Proven expertise in implementing and managing legal technology solutions (e.g., CLM, e-billing, document management)
• Strong analytical, financial, and legal budget management skills
• Expertise on Legal Budgeting and Contract Management tools such as SimpleLegal and Lexion
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Optimization: design, implement, and maintain efficient legal workflows and processes
• Contract Administration Support: streamline contract review and approval processes
• Budgeting & Metrics: manage the legal department's annual budget and prepare monthly reports
• Vendor & Outside Counsel Management: oversee relationships and track performance against metrics
• Technology Management: evaluate and manage CLM, e-billing, and document systems
• Knowledge Management: create centralized legal knowledge bases and templates
• Project Management: lead cross-functional projects across Legal, Finance, Compliance, HR, Procurement
• Compliance & Risk Management Support: assist with audits and regulatory tracking
