Job summary

A leading defense contracting firm is seeking a qualified Interpreter to provide translation, interpretation, and transcription services for the Department of Justice. The ideal candidate must have specialized training in interpreting, at least four years of relevant experience, and proficiency in using Computer-Assisted Translation tools. This part-time position requires fluency in English and another language and the ability to deliver services promptly while adhering to confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in language interpretation.
• Qualifying scores ILR 3 minimum or equivalent on language tests.
• Must have lived 3 of the last 5 years in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation services within three hours of request.
• Translate legal documents and assist in court interpretations.
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive materials.
