Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a detail-oriented professional for legal document production and data support. The role involves creating and editing documents, transcribing, formatting, and using MS Excel for data analysis in a fast-paced team setting.

You will handle confidential materials, convert documents across formats, and apply editing tools to ensure accuracy. Strong MS Office skills are essential; associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
• At least 2 years in a legal document production environment preferred; proofreading experience preferred.
• Expert MS Excel skills for data processing and automation.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) for formatting and TOC generation.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit legal documents to client specifications using applicable software.
• Transcribe tapes, scan, and clean documents, and convert documents to/from different file formats.
• Repair or restore corrupted document files when needed.
• Handle sensitive and confidential documents and information.
• Use document comparison software, red-lining, and general editing to correct documents as directed.
• Create complex formulas and functions to analyze data.
• Produce spreadsheets, charts, graphs, mail merges, tables, and presentations as requested.
• Prioritize work requests across the team and clarify job instructions with the requester.
