Job summary

Squire Patton Boggs is seeking a Docketing Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years of California litigation experience. This role supports the Docket Department, ensuring accurate docketing and deadlines using CompuLaw, and advising attorneys as needed.

Remote or hybrid work is available, with preference for candidates in Arizona or those who can work west coast business hours. Strong organizational skills and clear communication are essential to maintain the firm’s docket system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years California litigation experience required and must have experience working with a variety of courts systems.
• CompuLaw experience strongly preferred. Paralegal certificate helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs electronic legal docketing via docketing software from court documents, correspondence, rules, and statutes.
• Intermediate knowledge and application of County, State, and U.S. District Court rules and regulations.
• Receives, reviews documents submitted to the Docket Department; determines service method and uses CompuLaw to compute due dates.
• Manually edits docket event descriptions and may override dates as necessary, advising attorneys and staff.
• Proofreads and reviews calendar entries for accuracy; maintains strict attention to detail.
