Job summary

RESICAP is seeking a W2 Leasing Agent to remotely manage inquiries, qualify prospects, and guide applicants through the leasing process. You will represent the community, share its features, and drive applications while staying informed about local schools, employers, and amenities.

This role emphasizes excellent communication, strong Microsoft Office use, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed; some travel to properties may occur.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed under a Broker or is a Broker.
• BA or Associate Degree preferred.
• New Home Experience preferred but not required.
• Top Lead Conversion experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage in-office presentations.
• Creative thinker with problem-solving skills.
• Must have a Driver’s License; some travel possible.
• Ability to be active and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• 100% remote position with occasional property visits (15-25%).
• Serve as the first contact for prospective residents.
• Explain property features and qualify prospects.
• Manage leasing and application processes for new residents.
• Determine customer needs quickly and create urgency to apply.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers.
• Use customer-friendly communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Handle lease files, paperwork, and computer systems tasks.
• Be knowledgeable about the community and surrounding area.
