Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Transition Manager, Lease Administration, to lead client implementations, manage vendor relationships, and oversee the entire transition lifecycle from discovery to stabilization. The role emphasizes strong project governance, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

The candidate will oversee lease abstraction, data migration, and quality control, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring timely, accurate delivery of all lease-related inputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, real estate, or similar field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate lease administration and/or accounting.
• Intermediate to expert experience with multiple CRE databases such as CoStar, Yardi, Apex, ProLease, Viisual Lease.
• Expertise with global accounts and 1,000+ leases.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work independently, preferably remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Track and manage project team’s accountability to scope, schedule, and budget for transitions.
• Provide quality control within the database during onboarding phase.
• Create, edit, and run reports in Lease Administration databases.
• Mentor and train junior transition resources.
• Oversee data migration and validation processes.
• Develop governance programs and reporting cadences with clients.
• Lead programs and initiatives such as Best Practice tracking and AI partnerships.
