Job summary

Cable One is seeking a qualified Lease Accountant to maintain ASC 842 lease schedules and support end-to-end lease accounting processes. The role requires a solid grounding in general ledger work and familiarity with lease accounting standards.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least one year of GL experience, with ASC 842 exposure highly preferred. The position offers comprehensive benefits and operating in a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting;
• Minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience;
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes and internal controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyzes as requested by leadership.
