Job summary

University of Phoenix is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to own detailed design, development, production, and quality for learning workstreams. You will translate needs into instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, and blended experiences, collaborating with consultants and teams to deliver high-quality, scalable content.

You’ll use AI-enabled production workflows to accelerate work, while applying professional judgment for accuracy and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in adult education, instructional design or related field with 4+ years' experience.
• Master's degree in related field preferred; strong portfolio required.
• Experience with AI-enabled production workflows and accessibility best practices.
• Proficiency creating instructor guides, facilitator guides, scripts, and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to translate needs into designs and production-ready experiences.
• Exercise independent instructional judgment to shape learning architecture and outcomes.
• Design, develop, and maintain guides, storyboards, e-learning modules, and assessments.
• Apply AI-enabled workflows to speed content drafting while reviewing for quality.
• Deliver final production files in Word, PowerPoint, Articulate, Sana or similar tools.
• Verify accuracy, accessibility, usability, and readiness for delivery.
• Own scoped projects and maintenance, including large-scale revisions and handoffs.
• Share reusable practices and templates to improve speed and quality.
• Contribute to assessment and evaluation activities with available data.
• Perform other duties as needed.
