Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to create engaging, scalable learning experiences. You will work with the L&D team to translate complex needs into learner-centered solutions, develop course materials, video content, and training assets with SMEs, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You will design, develop, and evaluate programs, support LMS readiness in Workday, and leverage AI tools to enhance content.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or related fields.
• Understanding of adult learning theory and basic instructional design models.
• Basic proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (Rise 360, Articulate, Synthesia or similar).
• Strong organizational skills to support multiple projects and meet SLA expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Familiarity with G Suite tools and quick learner for HR/LMS tech platforms.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of learning programs, courses, and resources under senior guidance.
• Apply foundational instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Translate content from subject matter experts into clear, accessible learning materials.
• Contribute to the production of high-quality video learning content, including scripting and basic editing.
• Support administration of learning initiatives: testing content, deploying surveys, tracking engagement.
• Maintain and organize learning assets, toolkits, and job aids for accessibility and alignment.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness by gathering feedback and analyzing learner data.
• Stay current on learning technologies, AI tools, and L&D trends.
• Prepare for a new LMS implementation within Workday by auditing content with SMEs.
