Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to craft scalable, learner-centered solutions. You’ll collaborate with our L&D team and senior designers to translate complex needs into high-quality materials, video content, and training assets for a fast-growing environment.

You will help audit content for a new Workday LMS, partner with SMEs, and ensure accessibility across assets, driving impactful learning in a dynamic, tech-forward company.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design.
• Understanding of adult learning theory and basic instructional design models.
• Basic proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (Rise 360, Articulate, Synthesia or similar).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet SLA expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset and a desire to learn.
• Comfort with G Suite tools and quickly learning HR/LMS technologies.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing learning programs, courses, and resources under guidance of senior team members.
• Apply instructional design principles to create engaging experiences.
• Translate SME content into clear, accessible learning materials.
• Contribute to video learning content, including scripting, storyboarding, and basic editing.
• Support administration of learning initiatives, including testing content, surveys, and engagement tracking.
• Maintain learning assets, toolkits, and job aids for accessibility and alignment with L&D strategy.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness by gathering feedback and analyzing data.
