Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Learning Design Lead to diagnose workforce skilling needs and translate technical gaps into scalable, learner-centered solutions for our Tech organization.

You will partner with SMEs and Tech leaders to deliver instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning experiences that improve associate performance and align with business priorities. You will operate with autonomy to clarify needs, define outcomes, and measure impact from discovery to implementation and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years designing end-to-end learning solutions for technical audiences.
• 8+ years applying learning methods (ILT, VILT, eLearning, job aids, microlearning).
• 5+ years defining learning success measures and evaluating effectiveness.
• 5+ years in instructional design, learning experience design, or performance consulting.
• Proficient multimedia authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Adobe Suite).
• Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand or similar LMS.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning and workforce capability needs and define target behaviors.
• Design and deliver learner-centered experiences across ILT, VILT, eLearning, microlearning, and performance support.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, job-relevant learning with SMEs.
• Build partnerships with Tech leaders, SMEs, and instructional designers.
• Define learning success measures and evaluate outcomes using data and feedback.
• Configure and maintain learning assets in an LMS for deployment and reporting.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, content development, and workflow efficiency.
• Prioritize skilling roadmap with Associate Director and govern learning requests.
