Job summary

Humana Inc. is hiring a Learning Design Lead to diagnose workforce skilling needs, translate technical gaps into practical learning solutions, and partner with Tech leaders to improve associate performance.

You will design scalable, learner-centered experiences across ILT, VILT, eLearning, microlearning, and performance support, applying performance consulting and adult learning principles. Remote role with EST/CST alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 8+ years delivering end-to-end learning solutions for technical audiences.
• 8+ years designing learning methods across ILT, VILT, eLearning, job aids, microlearning.
• 5+ years defining learning success measures using data, feedback and performance outcomes.
• 5+ years applying instructional design and performance consulting in corporate/tech environments.
• Ability to create/edit multimedia assets using industry tools like Articulate, Captivate, and Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning, performance, and workforce capability needs to identify skill gaps and define target behaviors.
• Design and deliver learner-centered experiences across modalities: ILT, VILT, eLearning, microlearning, job aids, and performance support.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, role-relevant learning with SME validation.
• Use stakeholder consultation to build partnerships with Tech leaders, SMEs, designers, and cross-functional teams.
• Define learning success measures and evaluate outcomes using feedback, assessments, and business metrics.
• Configure, test, and maintain learning assets in an LMS to support deployment, access, and reporting.
• Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, content development, and personalization with governance and human validation.
• Develop and refine skilling roadmap with Associate Director and consult on learning requests for Tech colleagues.
• Contribute to departmental learning strategy and communicate progress, risks, and decisions to leaders.
