Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Learning Design Lead to diagnose workforce skilling needs and translate technical gaps into practical learning solutions for the Tech organization.

You will partner with SMEs and Tech leaders to deliver scalable, learner-centered experiences that build technical and professional capabilities. As a senior individual contributor, you will apply performance consulting, instructional design, and learning technologies to align learning with business priorities, measure

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and delivering end-to-end learning solutions for technical audiences.
• 5+ years applying instructional design, learning experience design, or performance consulting in corporate/tech settings.
• Ability to create multimedia and eLearning assets using industry-standard tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience managing courses in Cornerstone OnDemand or similar LMS.
• Strong knowledge of eLearning standards and Adult Learning Theory (ADDIE, SAM).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning, performance, and workforce capability needs to identify skill gaps and recommend solutions.
• Design and deliver learner-centered experiences across ILT, VILT, eLearning, microlearning, job aids, and blended learning.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, role-relevant learning with SMEs.
• Use consultative skills to partner with Tech leaders, SMEs, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Define learning success measures and evaluate outcomes using feedback, assessments, and business metrics.
• Configure, test, and maintain learning assets in a learning management system.
• Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, content development, and design productivity.
• Partner with Associate Director to develop skilling roadmap aligned with Tech needs.
• Provide consulting on incoming learning requests for Tech colleagues.
• Communicate progress and risks to leaders and stakeholders.
