Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Learning Design Professional to apply instructional design, cognitive psychology, and adult learning theory to develop solutions for knowledge or performance gaps. This role involves analyzing content, designing learning solutions, and creating storyboards, scripts, and performance support materials for both in-person and digital delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in learning design focused on adult learners.
• Minimum 2 years in a consumer-facing role, demonstrating customer orientation.
• Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
• Experience with eLearning strategies and adult learning theories.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and organize content, design learning solutions, and create storyboards, scripts, performance support materials, mobile learning, and manuals.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and provide input for course content.
• Write learning goals, coordinate performance assessments to measure training effectiveness, and ensure course materials are current and aligned with training needs.
• Track and analyze training program effectiveness through learner satisfaction, proficiency testing, and job performance improvement.
• Provide instruction and guidance to facilitators.
• Utilize social media and collaborative tools to facilitate learning.
• Shape and develop training curriculum, materials, and job aids to meet specific training needs.
• Conduct needs analyses with clients to determine necessity and relevance of learning solutions.
• Influence departmental strategy and make decisions on technical approaches for project components.
• Exercise considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments, performing work independently.
